Oban dive trip - 26 to 28 February 2010
Our first organised dive trip will be in Oban from Friday 26th in the evening to Sunday evening on the 28th February.
We will be staying in the waterfront chalet at Puffin dive centre and dive from the bay on the Saturday and Sunday.
For all of you that don't know that place, this is fantastic facility for your first dive in scotland for a couple of reason :
- accomodation are 100m from the beach so no need to get up too early
- they have toilets, changing room, kit room so you don't have to get change by the road side behind a car !
- HOT Shower so that you can go straight in from the sea in your wetsuit
- dry room with a wood burner
You will not get this facility everyday so take advantage of it while you can.
The plan is to leave on Friday afternoon with the mini bus and Ralf van, stop to the Fish and Chip for dinner at Tyndrum and get to the chalet.
Dive on saturday , cook and drink on that evening in the chalet
Dive sunday and be back in Edinburgh for the evening.
Cost :
Mini bus + petrol : To be confirmed
Accomodation : £31 to £36 depending on number for 2 nights
Food : bring your breakfast and lunch, we will all cook together for saturday diner
Drinks : for you to bring, can stock up on saturday in town
Air : we can refill at Puffin, £3 per bottle.
Requirements :
By the date of the dive trip, you need to have completed all your pool assesment and done the theory test.
We will need to check your scotsac logbook too.
